Melusi Nene’s been living with HIV for the last decade, who considers himself an introvert who is able to let out his thoughts and emotions through his writing.

Discovering his diagnosis drove Melusi down a dark road. From suicidal thoughts, to considering spreading the virus and even denying himself his medication. Fortunately his friends and loved ones provided a strong support structure for him, which helped him escape that negative mindset 

Melusi admits that disclosure hasn’t been an easy thing for him, but he believes sharing his status and this platform will help men understand the need to care for themselves.

When Mulusi isn’t working or writing down his thoughts, he enjoys playing pool, boxing, and football.
